The tutorial videos are well explained and easy to follow. However, there are a few drawbacks in the current version of the app: - Its not for the newest Xcode version which looks somewhat different in many occasions; there are also some code differences - The interface is VERY basic - it would be nice to have at least something like a "already watched" indicator on the videos to track your progress In summary, still a good beginners guide.

Just purchased. None of the videos work. Just displays a black screen. Visited the developers support forum and it seems they are aware (the last time the developer responded was 3 weeks ago, however). Will change rating when I can actually use the product. At this point in time, all youre getting for your money is a link to the download location for Xcode. Needs to be fixed. Very disappointed.

This guy is a big fraud.. he made this app so that he could get money… First: Most of his content appears to be copied from an app called Training for Objective C Second: This app does not even open up… it shows an alert that there is an issue and when I click reopen… the same alert appears… All I can say is… this guy needs to pay me back my money

I am so annoyed at this app, and have been so for MONTHS. On ALL of my Macs running Lion, Snow Leopard I get a notification saying "Training for Xcode" needs to be updated, but when I click on it to update I get this weird message about having other apps. Isnt it about time you FIXED THIS?

At the moment is waste of money. Not working on Mac Book Pro with Retina display. No ANY response from support. Im waiting already for over two weeks to get any advice or, at least, declaration when/if it will be working. NO RESPONSE.

Doesn’t even start

The app crashes during launch and doesn’t open. Contacted the developers, they don’t seem to care a lot.

I have learnt so much!

These tutorials are actually entertaining and fun to watch. MUCH better then other tutorials!

All there is in the app is text on the side. Other than that, nothing. No videos, just a black screen. If possible, I would very much appreciate a refund.

The first thing I noticed was his use os fn he seemed to want to f this and f that 2nd thing I notice is he is using sexual jokes and sayings in his presentation which I for one find VERY dishartening. Also his tutorial is for a version of Xcode that is no longer supported thus not totaly helpful ~ although it was not an expensive purchase I wish I could get a refund

Ive never asked for a refund for any app at anytime, but would really like one for this app. I expect the app to at least function, especially since its just tutorials. Also after further reading, theres no Xcode 5 support.

Two products in the title both use exactly the same Videos *which no longer display video* but the audio content of those work and is *Exactly the Same*! Site states works for OSX 6.6 on up…. Version 1.2 did work last year Sept on, but stopped this year, and Version 1.3 just bought for the same $6.99 tonight tested and the Videos dont work except for Audio only… Using OSX 7.5 Remedy needed… Thanks John

I took an intro course for python last semester, but i wanted to learn how to build iphone apps with objective-C. bucky is fantastic at explaining and simplifying complicated topics. he is easy to follow and uses simple examples that we can build from later on. honestly, i would have paid a lot more for this app - he provides so much useful information! definitely recommending this to friends, and anyone who is interested in learning objective-C *while he’s a great teacher, maybe the young chick example and the “that’s what she said” jokes etc werent the best choice…
